The most watched Spring Fashion Collection for Women

                When it comes to fashion there are many kinds of designers that comes in my mind, but what stands out for me is when a certain designer marks a sense of style in the dresses that he/she makes.  So when you talk about fashion week the best creativity and originality is always revealed through the collection of the finest designers in the world, and one of the most anticipated fashion shows this spring is none other than the Isaac Mizrahi Launches New Spring Collection with Liz Claiborne. The collaboration of these two artistic minds has given the fashion lovers the excitement since the theme for the said fashion event will feature the new line for the modern woman of our generation. A fashion fanatic myself is more than excited to see this great collection, because it gives us women to feel important and honored to be once again witness a remarkable colorful bright pattern designs.

                The fashion for women I believe has taken into greater heights because the way the ladies from different ages dress themselves is undeniably good to see. And with that I have to give the best credit to the hard-working designer who puts their mind and heart to produce amazing designs for the benefit of the new era for the women around the world. Even though recession is happening right now, it is not a hindrance for us to do something for ourselves and that is to look good and be updated on the new fashion in a practical way. So how cool it is to watch and be surprise of what the Spring Collection of Isaac Mizrahi with Liz Claiborne.

Ms Charo Santos-Concio of Abs-cbn is attending the Oscars 2009

Charo Santos-Concio, ABS-CBN president and chief operating officer, has been invited by the executives of ABC – Disney to attend the 81st Academy Awards ceremony at the Kodak Theatre on February 23 (Manila time).

A self-confessed movie buff, the Kapamilya network’s top executive said attending the Oscars is a dream come true.  Santos-Concio said she is thrilled to grace the prestigious occasion.

She added that she is looking forward to be in the company of the most distinguished filmmakers and esteemed actors from all over the world.
 
ABS-CBN, Velvet Skycable Channel 53 and Studio 23 are the exclusive live carriers of the awards.  

The much anticipated awards ceremony, which will be hosted by actor Hugh Jackman, will be telecast live on Channel 2 on February 23 at 9:45 a.m.

The complete coverage will be shown on Velvet Skycable Channel 53, starting  with a live telecast from 7 a.m and extending to the main awarding ceremony at 9:30 a.m. 

To give more Oscar fans the chance to catch the show, there will be a primetime encore telecast on Velvet on the same day at 6 p.m. A replay of the complete coverage will be aired on February 28 at 3:30 p.m.

Studio 23, meanwhile, will carry the first primetime telecast on free to air television on February 24 at 7 p.m.

Leading the pack of elite front-runners in this year’s glamorous Oscar derby is Brad Pitt’s blockbuster hit “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.” The film grabbed 13 nominations including best motion picture of the year.

Also, Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” is going head-to-head with other Hollywood blockbusters for the coveted best motion picture award.

Big stars including Angelina Jolie, Bradd Pitt, Sean Penn, Penelope Cruz, Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Mickey Rourke and Anne Hathaway are expected to grace the red carpet and the main awards ceremony.
